There are many things that I treasures about my late father. There are many sweet memories of him. I always think of my father as a strong man. He worked hard in the paddy field and was able to carry 50 – 70 kilos of paddy without much difficulty. He had to do this almost everyday during harvest season, carrying an average of 15 gunny sacks of paddy a day.
He also has his addictions too. At one time I noticed that he loves to eat sweets. It is the kind of sweets meant for those who are having a cough. He would take those sweets continuously throughout the whole day. I think the sweet has one kind of ingredient that makes him addicted to it. His addiction lasted for a few weeks. I am not sure how he kicked his addiction but I am glad he did. I do not want him to be addicted to the sweets or any drugs for that matter or I might have to send him to a drug rehabilitation centre. If you are staying in San Diego and know of anyone who is a drug addict, you can check out the San Diego drug rehabs.
Mother told me that my father was addicted to smoking when I was still young. I do not recall seeing my father smoking to which I am thankful.
