Since today is a public holiday we decided to go to the beach. There is a nice spot near our house, about 4km. Prepared the children (meaning changing their clothes to beachwear clothes) and off we went. Stopped by at the shopping centre we bought some titbits. Found a nice spot and immediately the two girls sat down and started playing with the sand. Barnabas followed suit.
The children enjoyed themselves with the sand. As for me, I just enjoyed the time lying down and relaxing on the mat under the shade of the pine trees. The weather is not so hot and there are many other picnickers at the beach, relaxing and swimming in the water. Before we realized it, it is already noon time. Cleaned up and off we went back home, stopping by at a restaurant to tapau food for the children.
