Can someone create an advance technology than will not cost poor people to hunt for gold bars when they are in need to use it? It is like almost impossible to poor people to get the best medical treatment when they fall sick. Most of them will just march to the grave when they are really ill. Is this nature’s way of getting rid of the poor?

I hope I would be one of them; the poor. I may not have gold bars but I do have some gold investment in case I fall really, really sick. Why gold? Oh well, I did not buy any medical insurance policy coz I need the cash for more important things in life and I hate seeing my money burnt each year when I did not have any medical claim. So I use the money to invest in gold and get better returns each year.

I do not fancy letting my children drink those pink, red, yellow, green, blue etc syrup when they fall sick. I prefer to let their body heal without any intervention of modern medicine. Besides the colouring and the sugar content, in long term, I feel that it weakens one immune system. Didn’t you realised that you always need stronger/higher dosage medicine each time you fall sick again?

So, what do I do when my children fall sick? I am not 100% against modern medicine. I will normally let them rest and drink lots and lots of liquid. If they are still sick after 3 days, then only I will let them take some modern medicine but only for 3 days then back to lots of liquid, rest and healthy food. Their healing maybe slower than those who take modern medicine religiously but when they healed, they won’t fall sick with the same sickness again so easily. Their body has build an immune system to fight that disease. Isn’t that wonderful?

A friend of mine just told me that she was on medical leave today due to UTI. Huh??? UTI only needs to rest at home eh? According to her, she woke up in the morning with her world spinning like a top. She only managed to get out of bed by noon and head to the clinic for check up as she worried that she might have high blood pressure or diabetes.

Blood test came out negative for high blood pressure and diabetes. However the urine test showed acidic which means she has infection. The doctor told her that infection can cause giddiness. And stress can cause UTI.
